Mechanical Engineering Consultancy- Former General Electric, Former MIT, multiple start-up alum.

For nearly 20 years, I've designed precision components for everything from aerospace to medical devices, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceutical processing machinery, where tolerances aren't suggestions; they're survival. But nothing tested my patience like my own gear stash: surplus ammo cans stuffed with mismatched cardboard boxes of ammo. Every inventory check? A full dump-out ritual—brass tumbling around, calibers mixing in chaos. I was done rummaging.
That's when my hobby hit warp speed. Armed with calipers, CAD software, and a trusty 3D printer, I engineered a set of ammo trays that fit into Army Navy surplus ammo cans that can be found anywhere. The result? The Range Rack System. Ammo trays that slot in seamlessly, built for swap-and-go efficiency. Uniform footprint for any standard can, but endlessly customizable: custom honeycomb cell diameters for .22 rimfire to .308 beasts, and up. Snap on interchangeable sliding lids and off you go. No more jumble; just grab and gear up.
These aren't just trays; they're the quiet upgrade every shooter, hunter, or reloader deserves. Perfect as a gift from a patient spouse, or for the solo operator tracking stock like a pro. Printed and assembled by hand, one at a time, tested in the field—because if it doesn't click for me, it doesn't ship. Dive in, organize out. Your cans (and sanity) will thank you.
